A Great Success!

As you may have seen already on the Clark's blog, but just in case you haven't, the total funds raised, including the match from the CN Miracle Match Program, for A Day for Drew 2009 was.......$26,000!!!!!

A Day for Drew 2009

THANK YOU!

The 1st Annual Drew Clark Memorial Golf Tournament was a great success and we would like to thank everyone who played a part in that success.

Whether you were a sponsor, donated prizes, golfed in the tournament, came only for the lunch or participated in the charity raffle from a distance; however you supported A Day for Drew, we express our sincere thanks for the amazing support for Jordan, Kari, Peyton & Drew and your help in raising funds to continue research & increase awareness about mitochondrial disease.

A few key things to remember


1. Register to golf/attend the luncheon by August 4th.

2. You can also provide monetary donations without attending the tournament/lunch. Make your cheques out to 'Drew Clark Charity Golf Tournament' and send them to Nicola Mooney's attention.

3. If you are unable to attend, you can still participate in the raffle without attending the tournament/lunch. Contact Nicola Mooney (nmooney@telus.net/403-286-0926) or Aisling Gamble (agamble@ucalgary.ca/403-455-9381). *Reminder: ALL proceeds raised through the charity raffle will be matched by the CN Miracle Match Program*

REMINDER

August 4th is the deadline to register for the golf tournament. Fill out the 'Tournament Registration Form' and send your form and your $$ to Nicola Mooney as soon as you can. If you are interested in sponsoring a hole, go to 'Tournament Sponsorship Levels' for all the details.

You don't want to miss out on a great day of golf at the Links @ Glen Eagles and the steak lunch being provided afterwards. If you wish to attend the lunch only ($40), please indicate that on the registration form.

The first annual Drew Clark Memorial Golf Tournament will be an event to remember. Tee up August 11th at the Links at Glen Eagles and support mitochondrial disease research and awareness, done through the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. For more information and to register, call (403) 286-0926. Drew Clark was diagnosed with mitochondrial disease when he was just 10 months old, and passed away just four months later.
